Exciting News: A New Enterprise Architecture Book in the Works!
Dear readers,
I’m thrilled to share some exclusive news with you—my Substack subscribers! You’re the first to hear about this exciting milestone.
As many of you know, I published a Finnish book on enterprise architecture earlier this year. It was well-received, with the first (small) print expected to sell out soon. But a question kept coming up: "What about an English version?"
Well, I listened—and took action. After some months of searching I’m delighted to announce that I’ve signed a publishing agreement with Business Expert Press, a New York-based publisher renowned for its concise and impactful business books.
The new book, set to release in the latter half of next year, will bring the principles and practice of enterprise architecture to a broader, international audience. My goal is to create a practical, approachable guide that offers a lightweight, end-to-end approach to enterprise architecture.
Who is it for?
The book is designed to serve business and IT leaders, enterprise architecture professionals, IT specialists, business developers, and even students. My aim is to demystify enterprise architecture, showcasing its value in navigating complexity and driving change, especially for audiences not traditionally targeted by enterprise architecture books.
The biggest challenge? Keeping the content concise! Business Expert Press focuses on short, focused books, so I’ll need to tighten the material. But one thing’s for sure: I’m not letting go of the practical examples that bring enterprise architecture to life.
If you read Finnish, feel free to check out the original book: www.kokonaisarkkitehtuuri.com.
I’ll keep you updated as the English edition takes shape—deadlines are looming, so it’s back to writing for me! 😊
Thank you for being part of this journey. I’d love to hear your thoughts or ideas about what this book could offer to make enterprise architecture even more accessible and impactful!
Best,
Eetu
